    The ExHAC software performs the IEC 60079-10-1 Ed. 3.0 calculations for your area classification. It also generates a report that you can download in Excel or a PDF format?

  • How much is the ExHAC training course, and do I need to buy the software, too?

    The ExHAC Training course costs $500 CAD (approx. $375 USD). Software purchase isn't necessary, but subscribing for a month is recommended to fully benefit from the course's application examples in the second part.

  • Can I purchase the ExHAC software instead of buying the course?

    The software comes with a user guide and can serve as a standalone product. However, we recommend subscribing to the course and software for maximum benefit.

  • Does the ExHAC software create diagrams?

    No. The ExHAC is a calculation tool. It’s up to you to create the diagrams, using engineering judgement and the results from the ExHAC output.

  • How are the autoignition temperatures calculated, and will they save us time?

    The autoignition temperatures are calculated using molar masses. The background for the method is fully explained in our training course.

  • Does the ExHAC show extent of zone in the ExHAC?

    Yes, this software calculates the vertical and horizontal distances.
